• TT (TwinTec): These are mains-powered (cable) models. They offer unlimited run-time but require a nearby power outlet and management of a trailing cable.
• TTB (TwinTec Battery): Traditionally refers to standard battery models. This category includes the NX range, which uses compact, fast-charging NX300 lithium cells for smaller, highly manoeuvrable machines such as the 440NX and TTB3045NX
• TBL (TwinTec Battery Lithium): This is the current flagship series for larger walk-behind machines. The TBL range utilises high-capacity Lithium Iron Phosphate NX1K) batteries, providing significantly longer run-times, faster opportunity charging, and a much longer overall lifespan compared to traditional batteries.

Run-times are model-specific and depend entirely on your chosen battery configuration:

• Compact NX Range: Machines like the TTB1840NX utilise the NX300 lithium cells, offering approximately 60 to 80 minutes of continuous cleaning with a 60-minute fast-charge capability.
• Large-Scale TBL & Ride-On Range: For professional-grade cleaning, the NX1K LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology is the industry leader. Some NX1K ride-on models can provide over 6 hours of run-time, while NX1K walk-behind models can last over 3 hours, depending on the specific battery capacity selected. This ensures enough power for full-shift operations without the need for frequent opportunity charging.

For the best results and to protect your machine’s internal seals, you must use a low-foaming industrial floor cleaning chemical. High-foam detergents (like standard floor soaps or bleach) can cause foam to enter the vacuum motor, potentially leading to expensive repairs. We recommend pH-neutral or specialised alkaline cleaners depending on your floor type.
