MK Floortec (the trading name of M.K. Floortec Services Ltd) guarantees to the original purchaser that all finished products are free from defects in both materials and workmanship for a minimum period of one year. For spare parts, consumables, and accessories, the warranty period is three months (90 days). The warranty for spare parts may be voided if they are improperly fitted or used by unqualified personnel.
Note: This warranty explicitly excludes consumable parts of machinery, including but not limited to replacement carbon brushes, floor brushes, dust bags, filters, and damaged mains cables, which are considered replaceable during the machine's normal working life.
The warranty period begins from the date of purchase.
Any warranty claim made within the items warranty period will require inspection by our in house engineers or on site by the manufacturer. You can arrange the item to be shipped to us at your own cost, we recommend obtaining tracking information from your shipping provider. We are not responsible for the loss of any items during transit for any returned items. Or, we can arrange collection of the warranty claim item, for this service we will request a £30 collection and redelivery fee. Once our in-house engineers verify a successful warranty claim, we will arrange for a full refund of the £30 collection and redelivery fee and return your original item in full working order.
If your item is found to be faulty for reasons not covered by the warranty, such as user error, misuse, or if it is determined to be functioning correctly, we will retain the £30 collection and redelivery fee. Any necessary parts will incur additional charges. We will reach out to you to confirm if you would like to proceed with repairs that are not covered by the warranty before returning your item.
For Numatic & Nilfisk floor machines, including scrubber dryers, sweepers, and robotic equipment, on-site call-out costs are as follows: £80.00 + VAT for the call-out charge and £55.00 + VAT for each additional 30 minutes. Any necessary parts will incur extra charges. These charges will only apply if the machine has been damaged, misused, or is faulty due to user error.
At MK Floortec, we collaborate closely with our manufacturers and possess the technical expertise necessary to validate warranty claims. If you are not satisfied with our decision, the final determination will be made by the manufacturer.
Claims resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, or abuse will not be accepted.
No replacement will be issued unless satisfactory evidence validating the claim has been provided to MK Floortec.
MK Floortec reserves the right to charge for any unnecessary work performed due to an invalid claim.
No modifications to this warranty may be made or implied by any representative of MK Floortec unless such modifications are documented in writing and authorised by the Company.
